Manuel Sánchez Monge (born April 18, 1947 in Fuentes de Nava ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Santander .
Life
Manuel Sánchez Monge received on 9 August 1970, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 6, 2005 Bishop of Mondoñedo-Ferrol . The apostolic nuncio in Spain and Andorra , Manuel Monteiro de Castro , donated him episcopal ordination on July 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Antonio María Cardinal Rouco Varela , Archbishop of Madrid , and Julián Barrio Barrio , Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Santander on May 6, 2015 . The inauguration took place on May 30th of the same year.
