Vicente Jiménez Zamora (born January 28, 1944 in Ágreda ) is Archbishop of Saragossa .
Life
Vicente Jiménez Zamora received on 29 June 1968, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Osma-Soria on May 21, 2004 . The apostolic nuncio in Spain and Andorra , Manuel Monteiro de Castro , donated him episcopal ordination on July 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Antonio María Cardinal Rouco Varela , Archbishop of Madrid , and Francisco Gil Hellín , Archbishop of Burgos .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Santander on July 27, 2007 .
On December 12, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Saragossa . The inauguration took place on December 21 of the same year.
