Marcel Krohn

Marcel Krohn (born December 15, 1968 ) is a German actor , director and artistic director .

Life

Krohn comes from Oldenburg in Lower Saxony . He received his training at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and at the Acting Academy in Zurich . He also completed a degree in German and political science at the Distance University in Hagen and the Humboldt University in Berlin . With a thesis on the playwright Wilhelm Nienstädt , he earned his doctorate. phil. From 2002 to 2009, Krohn directed the guest theater "Berliner Tournee". From 2003 to 2006 he was dramaturge and deputy director of the Rhineland-Palatinate state theater based in Neuwied. From 2009 to 2018, Krohn was director of the Clingenburg Festival in Klingenberg am Main. He also works as a translator and playwright.
