Marcel Timm (born February 3, 1998 in Gummersbach ) is a German handball player .

Club career

Timm started playing handball at his home club CVJM Oberwiehl when he was eight. At the age of 14, the runner switched to the handball academy of VfL Gummersbach . In the summer of 2016, the then 18-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Bundesliga team. From the 2018/19 season he played for the HSC 2000 Coburg . In summer 2020 he moved to TBV Lemgo .

National team

In 2014 Timm was appointed to the DHB national youth team for the first time. In 2016 Marcel Timm celebrated his first international success and won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Croatia with the German U18 national team .
