Isaías Guardiola Villaplana (born October 1, 1984 in Petrer ) is a Spanish handball player .

Career

Isaías Guardiola played for BM Valencia from 2003 to 2005 and then for five years with CB Ciudad de Logroño . In 2010 he moved to BM Ciudad Real ( Atlético Madrid from 2011 ), with whom he won the Spanish Cup in 2011 . From 2012 he played together with his twin brother Gedeón Guardiola in the handball Bundesliga with the Rhein-Neckar Löwen , with whom he won the 2013 EHF European Cup . From the summer of 2014 he played for the Danish first division club Aalborg Håndbold . In February 2015, his contract was terminated. For the 2015/16 season he moved to the French first division club Pays d'Aix UC . In February 2016 he was loaned to the Hungarian club MKB-MVM Veszprém KC until the end of the season. With Veszprém he won the Hungarian championship in 2016. In the 2016/17 season he was under contract with the German club HC Erlangen . He then moved to TBV Lemgo .

In the Spanish national team , Isaías Guardiola has so far made five international matches in which he scored eleven goals.
