Andrej Kogut (born April 9, 1988 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a German handball player who is mostly used on the back center .

Career

The 1.84 m tall right-handed man came to Germany at the age of four. At HG Remscheid, he started playing handball in 1998. After three years at TG Cronenberg, he moved to HSG Düsseldorf in the handball Bundesliga in 2006 . In his first season he scored 25 goals in 14 games, but in the end had to be relegated to the 2nd handball league. He then joined the second division TV Korschenbroich , but returned to the HSG after a year. With the Düsseldorf team in 2009 he was promoted to the Bundesliga again. Despite his 99 goals in 33 missions, he rose again at the end of the season. From 2010 he ran for the second division TSG Friesenheim , with whom he rose to the first division in 2014 . At the end of the 2013/14 season he was voted the best second division player of the season. For the 2015/16 season he moved to TBV Lemgo , where he signed a two-year contract.

Andrej Kogut won the Junior World Championship with the German National Junior Team in 2009 and was voted the best playmaker in the All-Star team.
