Marcelino Hernández Rodríguez
Marcelino Hernández Rodríguez (born May 28, 1946 in San Luis Potosí , Mexico ) is Bishop of Colima .
Life
The Archbishop of Guadalajara , José Cardinal Salazar López , ordained him a priest on April 22, 1973 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Ancusa and auxiliary bishop in Mexico on January 5, 1998 . The Archbishop of Mexico , Norberto Rivera Carrera , ordained him episcopal on February 5 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Juan Cardinal Sandoval Íñiguez , Archbishop of Guadalajara , and Javier Navarro Rodríguez , Auxiliary Bishop of Guadalajara .
He was appointed bishop of Orizaba on February 23, 2008, and was installed in office on April 22 of the same year.
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Colima on November 11, 2013 . The inauguration took place on January 10 of the following year.
