Marco Perella

Marco Anthony Perella (born May 18, 1949 in Houston , Texas ) is an American actor and musician.

Life

Marco Perella began studying at Stanford University , but dropped out after his first year. He then worked as a construction worker, firefighter and musician before auditioning for a role in West Side Story and from then on increasingly appeared in the theater. Since the mid-1980s, he then received his first roles in film and television. His first appearance in the road movie Fandango was cut out again before the film was released. This was followed by roles in films such as Knight Rider 2000 , JFK - Tatort Dallas , Perfect World or Lone Star . He appeared several times in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger . Perella has worked repeatedly with Texas director Richard Linklater and has appeared in his films Fast Food Nation , A Scanner Darkly and Boyhood .

In 2001, Perella published his autobiography Adventures of a No Name Actor .

He is also active as a musician. He released the solo album Carry Me Home (2000) and performs live with his band The Melancholy Ramblers.

Perella lives in Georgetown , Texas, and with actress Diane Perella married. The marriage had two children.
