Marián Jurčík

Marián Jurčík (born January 27, 1987 in Slovakia ) is a Slovak chess grandmaster .

career

Marián Jurčík was awarded the title of International Master (IM) by FIDE in 2008 . It wasn't until 2017 that he finally received the grandmaster title.

In 2010 he won the Slovak individual chess championship.

For Slovakia he took part in the Chess Olympiads in 2016 and 2018 .

The Slovak Extraliga he could in the 2010/11 season with TJ Slávia CAISSA Čadca and 2014/15 and 2015/16 with SO SKM Angelus Stará Ľubovňa win. In the Czech Republic he played for the SC A64 Grygov and Prestige Photo Unichess, among others .
