Karel Mokry

Karel Mokrý (born February 7, 1959 ) is a Czech chess master .

Life

Mokrý received the grandmaster title in 1984 . Mokrý often took part in championships in Czechoslovakia, later the Czech Republic. He won in 1995.

Mokrý won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1st place in the U-18 tournament in Děčín (1979), 2nd place in Prague (1982), 1st place in Karviná (1982), 1st place in Reggio nell'Emilia (1983) I.-III. Place in Trnava (1983), I.-II. Place in Trnava (1984), 1st place in Copenhagen (1985).

He has been running a chess book shop since 1991, first in Bratislava and since 1993 in Prostějov .

After the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, he was initially registered for the Slovak Chess Federation, since 1994 he has been eligible to play for the Czech Chess Federation. His Elo rating is 2420 (as of July 2015), but is run as inactive because he since in July 2006 in Minsk discharged Inautomarket Open has not played a game more Counting. He reached his highest rating of 2535 in January 1993.

National team

In the Czechoslovak team championship, Mokrý played for ELAI Bratislava in the 1990/91 and 1991/92 seasons , in the Czech Extra League he played for the champions ŠK Lokomotiva MONING Brno in the 1994/95 season and for the A64 MILO Olomouc from 1995 to 2002 , with which he became Czech team champion in 1998 . In the Austrian State League A he played from 1990 to 1996 for SC Margareten , with whom he was Austrian team champion in 1993 , 1994 and 1995 and took part in the European Club Cup in 1993 . In the German federal chess league he played for SV Tübingen in the 1994/95 season . The Slovak Extraliga won Mokrý 1993 with ELAI Bratislava , at the European Club Cup he took in 1995 with the ŠK Slovan Bratislava in part.
