Vítězslav Rašík

Vítězslav Rašík (born November 7, 1973 ) is a Czech chess grandmaster .

Career

Rašík was the last champion in what was then Czechoslovakia in 1992 . A year later he was awarded the title of International Master by FIDE , which was only followed by the title of Grand Master in 2017.

His best Elo rating ever was 2516 in September 2012.

In the 2016/17 season he played for Schachfreunde Schöneck in the 2nd Bundesliga South and for ŠK Labortech Ostrava in the Czech Extra League . In 2006/07 he played for SK Passau. He had won the Czech extra league in the 2002/03 season with TJ TŽ Třinec.
