Jan Krejčí (born September 27, 1992 ) is a Czech chess player .

Krejčí played four times for the Czech national team at the Mitropapokal , receiving an individual gold medal in 2009 and 2013 for his result of 6.5 points each in 9 games on the fourth board. He won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 1st place in the Czech U10 championship (2002), 1st place in the U14 championship of the European Union (2005), 1st place in the Czech U16 championship (2007) , 2nd place in the Czech U16 championship (2008), 2nd place in the Czech U18 championship (2008), 1st place in the Duras IM tournament in Brno (2008), 1st place in the Jihlavanka Cup Tournament in Olomouc (2008), 2nd place at the GM tournament in Marienbad (with IM standard 2009) and 1st place at the Czech U18 championship (2009).

Krejčí became Grand Master in 2011; he achieved the first norm at the Mitropapokal 2009 in Rogaška Slatina , the second norm he received in the Czech Extraliga 2010/11 and the third norm he fulfilled at the individual championship of the Czech Republic in 2011 in Pardubice . In the Czech extra league Krejčí played from 2010 to 2015 for TJ Tatran Litovel , for whom he already played in the 2007/08 season. In the 2009/10 season he played on the top board of the ŠK Duras BVK - Královo Pole , from the 2015/16 season to the 2017/18 season he played for the first team of the ŠK JOLY Lysá nad Labem. Krejčí has ​​been playing for the 1st Novoborský ŠK since 2018 . In the Austrian Bundesliga he played for SK Zwettl in the 2012/13 season , in 2010 he played in the Polish Ekstraliga for AZS WSB Wrocław. In the Slovakian Extra League, Krejčí played for ŠK Dunajská Streda in the 2009/10 season, for ŠK Modra in 2012/13 and 2015/16 and for ŠK Prakovce in 2017/18 .
