Leon Vološin (originally Leonid Wiljewitsch Voloshin Russian Леонид Вильевич Волошин , temporarily Leonid Vološin , spelling at the World Chess Federation FIDE Leon Voloshin ; born May 10, 1964 in Kazan , Russian SFSR ) is a Czech chess player of Russian origin.
Life
Vološin received the grandmaster title in 2003 , he met the necessary standards in February 2001 at a tournament in Zabrze and in July 2003 at a tournament in Nový Bydžov . Chessbase's Megabase 2008 database contains the first games (under the name Leonid Voloshin) from the Russian Spartakiad 1983 and the last games from the territory of the former Soviet Union from Alushta in the Ukraine from 1993. At this time, he also moved to the Czech Republic. He has been playing for the Czech Republic since 1997. Vološin won bronze at the Czech championship in 2006 in Brno .

Vološin played in the Czech Extra League from 1994 to 2006 for ŠK Sokol Vyšehrad Bismarck , from 2006 to 2009 for TJ Zikuda Turnov , in the 2014/15 season he played for AD Mahrla Prague and in the 2019/20 season for ŠK Dopravní podnik Praha . In the German Oberliga Baden he played for BG Buchen I , and in the 2005/06 season of the Austrian Bundesliga he played for SK Sparkasse Götzis . In the Slovak Extra League he played in the 1993/94 season for the ŠK Slovan Rimavská Sobota .
