Vojtěch Plát (born January 23, 1994 in Rychnov nad Kněžnou ) is a Czech chess player .
career
Plát was awarded the title of International Master by FIDE in 2009 and the title of Grand Master followed in 2017 . In 2016 he became the Czech national champion. With the Czech national team he took part in the 2016 Chess Olympiad and the 2017 European Team Championship. In January 2019 he was ranked 8th among the active Czech players. His highest rating to date was 2569 in January 2018.

In the Czech Extraliga , Plát played from 2008 to 2011 and from 2012 to 2015 for TJ TŽ Třinec, from 2015 to 2017 and again since 2018 for the team of Výstaviště Lysá nad Labem, with whom he became Czech team champion in 2019 . In the Slovak Extraliga he played for ŠK Dunajská Streda in the 2007/08 season, from 2008 to 2010, from 2014 to 2017 and again since 2019 for ŠKŠ Dubnica, from 2012 to 2014 for TJ Slávia CAISSA Čadca, in the 2017 season / 18 for Slovak Commander and in the 2018/19 season for the ŠK Modra.
In the British Four Nations Chess League , Plát played from 2011 to 2013 for the first and second teams of Guildford A&DC, in whose first team he also played in the 2018/19 season and won the title. He played for White Rose in the 2017/18 season . In Germany he has played for SC Weiler im Allgäu in the Oberliga Württemberg since the 2018/19 season, in Austria he played for Leoben in the 2. Bundesliga Mitte in the 2017/18 season . Plát has been playing for Wieża Pęgów in the Polish Ekstraliga (chess) since 2018 .
