State Chess League A 1994/95
The 1994-95 season was the 20th season of the Austrian chess State League A . From the State League of goods SC Fischer Wien and SK VOEST Linz ascended.
Both newcomers achieved relegation, while SV Tram Graz and the 1st SSK Mozart were relegated.
The defending champion SC Margareten won the championship again with a half point lead.

The competitions took place on October 22 and 23, November 12 and 13, 1994, January 28 and 29, February 24, 25 and 26, and March 25 and 26, 1995.

Qualifying tournament for the State League A 1995/96
The qualifying tournament for the State League A took place from April 21 to 23. The participants were the ESV Austria Graz (winner of the State League B South), the SK Hohenems (winner of the State League B West) and with the SC Wien-Donaustadt and the ATSV Stein / Steyr the first two of the State League B East. Hohenems and ESV Graz secured the first two places and were promoted to the State League A.
