German Chess League 2004/05 (Austria)

The 2004/05 season was the 30th season of the Austrian Chess League . Union Styria Graz , SK Mayrhofen and SK Donau were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga .

Union Styria Graz was the only newcomer to stay in the league , while SK Mayrhofen and SK Donau had to relegate. ESV Austria Graz was added as the third relegated team .

Union Ansfelden became champions with a seven point lead, while defending champion SK Hohenems had to be content with fifth place.

Dates and venues

The competitions took place from November 19 to 21, 2004 in Graz , from January 13 to 16, 2005 in Bregenz and from March 17 to 20, 2005 in Fürstenfeld .
