German Chess League 2010/11 (Austria)

The 2010/11 season was the 36th season of the Austrian Chess League . SV St. Veit an der Glan , ASVÖ Pöchlarn and SK Royal Salzburg were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga .

All three newcomers achieved relegation, while SK Lackenbach , Union Styria Graz and SK Mayrhofen had to relegate . The defending champion Schachklub Jenbach won all competitions and was superior Austrian champion.

Dates and venues

The competitions took place from November 19 to 21, 2010 and from January 20 to 23, 2011 in Graz and from March 3 to 6, 2011 in Sankt Veit an der Glan .
