Tomáš Likavský (born July 28, 1971 in Zvolen ) is a Slovak chess master .
Life
In 2005 he received the grandmaster title . Likavský played twice (in 2004 and 2006 ) for the national team of Slovakia at the Chess Olympiad , where he scored 6.5 points from 12 games. 2001 Likavský played at the European Team Championships in León . Likavský won in the same year in Tatranské Zruby (together with Mikuláš Maník ) and Imperia (together with Borys Tschalbaschew ). At the turn of 2001/2002 he shared second place in the Cracovia 2001/02 tournament in Kraków . He won 2002 in Salgótarján and shared first place in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria . In 2003 Likavský won again (together with Konstantin Tschernyschow ) in Salgótarján, then he shared second place in the championship of Slovakia and Likavský was again shared winner (together with Oleg Korneev ) in Imperia. In 2006 he shared first place in the Open Česká Třebová . In 2007 he was again a shared winner in Szombathely.
In the German federal chess league Likavský played in the 2007/08 season for Godesberger SK , in the Austrian 1st Bundesliga from 2005 to 2010 for ASVÖ Wulkaprodersdorf , with whom he took part in the European Club Cup 2006, and in the 2011/12 season for the SK Zwettl . In the Czech Extraliga he played in the 2000/01 season for the ŠK Infinity Pardubice , from 2001 to 2005 for ŠK Mahrla Prague , in the 2005/06 season for the second team of ŠK Lokomotiva Brno , in the 2007/08 season for TJ Tatran Litovel and from 2010 to 2012 for Výstaviště Lysá nad Labem . In the Slovak Extraliga he played from 1992 to 1994 and from 2011 to 2013 for ŠK Doprastav Bratislava , from 1994 to 1999 for ŠK Dunaj Bratislava , with whom he became Slovak team champion in 1997 and took part in the European Club Cup in 1999 until 2001 and in the 2002/03 season for the ŠK Softip Rajecké Teplice , in the 2001/02 season for the ŠK Bestex Nové Zámky , from 2003 to 2007 for the ŠK Zentiva Hlohovec , with which he was champion in 2004 , from 2007 to 2009 for the MŠK KdV Kežmarok , from 2009 to 2011 for the ŠK Prievidza , with whom he won the championship in 2010 , from 2013 to 2018 for TJ INBEST Dunajov , and since 2018 he has played for the ŠK AQUAMARIN Podhájska .
