Mari Kristine Søbstad Molid (born August 8, 1990 in Trondheim , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player .
Molid started playing handball at Kolstad IL. The back player later moved to Byåsen IL , where she was used in the top Norwegian league from the 2006/07 season. With Byåsen she was in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2007 , which was won by the Romanian club CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea . In 2012 she signed a contract with Levanger HK . From the 2014/15 season she ran for Larvik HK . With Larvik, she won the championship in 2015 and 2016. In the summer of 2016 she moved to the Danish first division club Randers HK . With Randers she won the Danish Cup in 2016. In the 2018/19 season she played again for Larvik. She then moved to Molde HK .
Molid made her debut for the Norwegian national team on September 22, 2010 . With the Norwegian selection, she won the European Championship in 2010 . A year later she won the World Cup in Brazil . Molid continued to take part in the 2013 World Cup. In 2015 she won her second world title. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
Molid was previously on the squad of the Norwegian youth team. With the junior selection, she won the 2010 World Championship.
