Maria Axt (born November 16, 1925 in Berlin ; † August 28, 1987 there ) was a German children's book author , radio play speaker and actress .

Life

The Berlin actress worked in the theater and appeared in television and radio plays. After an episode of the Tatort series, she starred in several films. Among other things, Axt was seen in the 1955 film Cinderella by Fritz Genschow in the lead role of the stepsister.

Like her husband Joachim Nottke and her daughter Katja Nottke , Maria Axt also worked as a radio play speaker. She is best known for her role as Oberhexe Walpurgia for Bibi Blocksberg , but also had several speaking roles for Benjamin Blümchen , Die kleine Detektiven and other radio plays.

Axt also worked as a children's book author and published her first novel, Rote Socken, in 1981. She also created the crime series Hansi-Feldmann-Detektiven , of which several books were published and continued to be written under her name by Joachim Nottke after her death . Nottke was a member of the grandstand on Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Most recently she stood at the side of her daughter Katja Nottke in the revue Immer'n bit back to the old subject's happiness on stage. Axt died of a brain tumor in 1987 at the age of 61 and rests next to her husband in the Dahlem cemetery .
