Marie-Joseph-Aloys Munsch CSSp (born October 8, 1869 in Fellering , France , † December 28, 1942 ) was a French Roman Catholic religious and apostolic vicar of Kilimanjaro .

Life

Marie-Joseph Aloys Munsch joined the Congregation of the Holy Ghost in and received on 28 October 1894, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On September 13, 1910 appointed him Pope Pius X to the titular bishop of Magnesia ad Maeandrum and for the first Vicar Apostolic of Kilimanjaro. The Vicar Apostolic of Zanzibar , Emil August Allgeyer CSSp, donated him episcopal ordination on February 5, 1911 ; Co-consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of the Upper Nile , Henry Hanlon MHM , and the Vicar Apostolic of Bagamoyo , François-Xavier Vogt CSSp.

Marie-Joseph-Aloys Munsch resigned as Vicar Apostolic of Kilimanjaro on January 16, 1922.
