Marie Delarbre (born January 22, 1994 in Aalen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga again at ECDC Memmingen since 2017 .
Career
Marie Delarbre grew up bilingual (French and German). She began her ice hockey career at the age of six at EV Füssen , for which she played in the school league until 2012. At the same time, she began playing in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga for ECDC Memmingen in 2007 at the age of only 13 .
Marie Delarbre took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 . At the 2012 tournament she was the top scorer of the German team with eight scorer points (together with Kerstin Spielberger ).
In 2011, as the youngest member of the women's national team, she made it to the top division at the World Cup of Division I. At the 2013 World Cup , she reached fifth place with the national team.
From 2012 she studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth and played for the Bulldogs, the university's ice hockey team, in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association . In 2014, she moved to Merrimack College for a bachelor's degree in sports management . During the 2014-15 season, she did not play college ice hockey due to NCAA change regulations. At the beginning of the 2015/16 season she was named (first) captain of the Merrimack Warriors .
After completing her bachelor's degree in 2016, she spent another year in North America for her master's degree. In 2017 she returned to the ECDC Memmingen.
