Marine front clasp
The naval front clasp was donated on May 19, 1944 by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Karl Dönitz , and could be awarded to members of the Navy after prolonged probation in the front.
The prerequisite was a five-fold fulfillment of the award conditions for the war badge of the Navy.
The award consists of an elongated clasp with a medallion in which an anchor can be seen. To the left and right of the medallion there are eight oak leaves, slightly above one another . The back of the clasp is smooth.
