Mario Manzoni (born July 14, 1969 in Almenno San Bartolomeo , Lombardy ) is a former Italian cyclist and later sports director .

Manzoni turned professional in 1991 with the Gatorade-Chateau d'Ax cycling team . His most important successes as an active player include stage wins at the Giro d'Italia in 1997 , at Tirreno-Adriatico in 1994 and at the Tour de Romandie in 1996. Following his active career at the end of the 2004 season, Manzoni began working as a sports director, initially at Androni Giocattoli .
