Maritna Mank (* 1960 , according to official information 1964 , as Martina Mank ), often mentioned as Martina Mank in casting lists, is a German actress , radio play speaker and voice actress .

Life

Mank initially completed an apprenticeship in the field of copper printing technology in Eckernförde from 1980 to 1985 . However, she then decided to become an actor and studied drama at the Hanover University of Music and Theater from 1985 to 1989 .

Since 1987 she has had numerous theater engagements, including at the Hanover State Theater , the Hildesheim City Theater , the Braunschweig State Theater , the Bremen Theater and the ETA Hoffmann Theater in Bamberg . In the 1991/92 season she was the "lively" daughter Zeitel in the musical Anatevka (production: Irene Mann ) at the Braunschweig State Theater . In Hamburg she appeared at the Altona Theater and the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus . She gave guest appearances at the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn and at The Jewish Theater of New York (2007).

She has also worked several times in touring theater productions , including at Euro-Studio Landgraf .

As a stage actress, Mank played a wide repertoire , which included roles in plays by William Shakespeare (Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra ), as well as modern and contemporary theater pieces.

Mank also took on film roles in television films and series since the mid-1990s . The ZDF occupied Mank in the role of Clarissa in the Pilcher Rosamunde film version Two Sisters (1997). She also worked on ZDF in two television films from the Inga Lindström television series.

She had leading and supporting roles in various television series, including Die Wache (as Police Master Sarah Jansen, 1994-1995), Die Rettungsflieger (1996; 2001), Alpha Team - Die Lebensretter im OP (1997), Großstadtrevier (1998), Ein Fall for two (1999), girl friends (2001) and Die Kommissarin (2004).

In 2011 she was seen in the ARD television series Rote Rosen in several episodes (from episode 1160) in a continuous supporting role. She embodied the Berlin boutique owner Nicole Knesebeck, the best friend of the character Henriette Stein.

In addition to her acting activities, Mank also worked as a radio play speaker , including in productions for West German Radio and North German Radio . She participated in several episodes of the children's radio play series The Olchis . She also worked as a spokesperson for television documentaries and in advertising.

As a voice actress, she took on speaking roles in the television series Commissario Laurenti and McLeod's Töchter .

Mank lives in Berlin .
