Marius Vasile Ene (born October 2, 1972 in Sinaia ) is a former Romanian biathlete .

Marius Ene lives in Azuga and trained in Sinaia. The soldier started for the ASA Brașov . He began cross-country skiing as a child and biathlon in 1987. Since the early 1990s he took part in the Biathlon World Cup. At his first international championships in 1993 Ene took part in the Biathlon World Championships in Borowetz , where he was 75th of the individual and 92nd of the sprint. Before the Biathlon World Championships in 1997 in Osrblie he reached a 31st place in a sprint in Antholzhis best World Cup result. He left behind the future world champion Wilfried Pallhuber , the future world champions Oleksij Ajdarow , Tomasz Sikora , Wolfgang Rottmann and Roman Dostál , multiple world champion Wladimir Dratschow and the former overall world cup winner René Cattarinussi . At the World Championships, they were 73rd in the individual and 58th in the sprint. The 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano were the conclusion and highlight of his career . At the Nozawa Onsen races , Ene finished 60th and 64th in both individual and sprint.
