description

The ship with hull number 406 was built in 1974 in Yugoslavia for the Soviet Union and handed over to the Soviet side on December 20th in Kraljevica with great difficulty, the acceptance protocol was not signed by the first Soviet delegation. The adventurous journey from Kraljevica to Murmansk began on December 24th. In 1975 the ship was deployed on the Murmansk- Arkhangelsk line and in 1976 the defects under the guarantee in Kraljevica were remedied. After the repair, the ship was used again on the Murmansk-Archangelsk route and in 1977 on the Tallinn-Helsinki ( Finland ) international route as well as for the Baltic Sea cruises. 1981 Mariya Yermolova was operated on the line Murmansk- Cuba and 1984-1990 until the reunification of Germany on the line Leningrad - Rostock - Riga - Tallinn - Leningrad. After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the ship was transferred to Novorossiysk , because Odessa and Krym with Yalta and Sevastopol remained part of the Ukraine. Mariya Yermolova was deployed on the Novorossiysk-Istanbul line and made 8 cruises to Antarctica with western tourists . Since 2007, the ship has been operated as the only cruise ship on the Caspian Sea on the Aktau - Baku - Makhachkala -Astrakhan-Aktau route. The ship is currently not in service. In addition, it is no longer recorded in the shipping register. It is unclear whether it was just launched or whether it has already been scrapped.

Furnishing
