Marsaneix ( Occitan : Marsanes ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Sanilhac with 1,116 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants are called Marsaneixois .

history

On January 1, 2017, Breuilh , Marsaneix and Notre-Dame-de-Sanilhac merged as Communes déléguées to form the new Commune nouvelle Sanilhac. The municipality of Marsaneix was part of the Arrondissement of Périgueux and the canton of Isle-Manoire . Marsaneix was a member of the Association of Municipalities Le Grand Périgueux .
