The two offered three-liter engines are also used in the Ghibli and the Quattroporte . The petrol engine is manufactured by Ferrari in Maranello , the diesel engine is supplied by VM Motori . The Levante is produced at the Mirafiori plant in Turin .
Levante Trofeo
At the New York International Auto Show in March 2018, Maserati presented the Levante Trofeo, a performance variant of the SUV. It is powered by the 3.8-liter gasoline engine known from the Maserati Quattroporte VI , which in the Levante Trofeo develops 427 kW (580 hp). This accelerates the vehicle to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds. Maserati specifies the top speed at 299 km / h. The Levante Trofeo has been on sale since autumn 2019.
