Massey Island is an uninhabited island of 432 km² that belongs to the Bathurst Island group of the Queen Elizabeth Islands . It is elongated and up to 210 m high. The island is south of the Île Vanier , separated from it by the 1.7 km wide Pearse Strait , and north of Alexander Island and the Île Marc to the west of it , separated by the less than three kilometers wide Boyer Strait . The distance to the Île Mark is around 1100 meters at the narrowest point. About ten kilometers east of Cape Head , the easternmost point of Massey Island, is Bathurst Island , the main island of the archipelago, separated by the Erskine Inlet .
