Alexander Island is an uninhabited island in the Nunavut Territory , Canada . It belongs to the Bathurst Island group of the Queen Elizabeth Islands in the Arctic Ocean . It is separated from its neighboring islands of Massey Island and Bathurst Island by Boyer Strait and Pell Inlet . With a length of 43 km, Alexander Island has an area of 484 km².
