Mateo Pavlović (born June 9, 1990 in Mostar ) is a Croatian football player . He has been under contract with SCO Angers since 2016 .

Career

Pavlović made his professional debut with his youth club NK Zagreb on November 9, 2008 in the game against HNK Hajduk Split (0: 4). In the following seasons he was a regular player and played both in the league and in the Croatian cup competition .

In April 2011 it was announced that there was already international interest in him and that scouts from Bayern Munich , Werder Bremen , VfB Stuttgart and Zenit Saint Petersburg were watching him.

On January 1, 2013 Pavlović moved to Werder Bremen for 1.2 million euros . He signed a contract until 30 June 2016. His debut for Werder gave it 23 Matchday game against Bayern Munich (1: 6) when he coached Thomas Schaaf after 46 minutes for Aaron Hunt came on .

In February 2014 Pavlović was loaned to the Hungarian first division club Ferencváros Budapest until the end of the season. In July 2014, the loan business was extended for another year until the end of the 2015 season.

For the season 2015/16 returned Pavlović back to Bremen.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the French first division club SCO Angers .

National team

At the beginning of his career, Pavlovic played for the U-17s of Bosnia-Herzegovina before he decided to play for Croatia in 2008. In March 2013 he was nominated for the senior national team for the first time .
