Mathis Landwehr (born May 30, 1980 in Stuttgart ) is a German actor and producer .

Life

Mathis Landwehr was born in Stuttgart in 1980 as the son of a German teacher and doctor of philosophy and a sculptor and set designer. Early contact with the stage, continuous martial arts training and the closeness to the Ludwigsburg Film Academy had a decisive influence on his career aspirations even in his childhood and youth.

After high school and community service, he travels East and Southeast Asia for a total of one and a half years, works with renowned acting teachers and some of the world's most respected choreographers. His acting career begins after his feature film debut Kampfansage - The Last Student , which is sold worldwide and also has international audiences. To date, Mathis Landwehr has achieved considerable commercial success at home and abroad.

The television series Lasko - Die Faust Gottes , in which Landwehr plays the leading role, was nominated in 2009 for the German Television Award in the “Best Series” category. A year later, he was nominated for the Taurus World Stunt Award ("Best Fight") as a choreographer and performer. In 2011 Landwehr founded the production company Roundhousefilm GmbH with Sascha Girndt in order to initiate projects with the infrastructure that has meanwhile been set up and the pool of capable, young filmmakers.
