Matteo Bocelli

Matteo Bocelli (born October 8, 1997 in Forte dei Marmi , Province of Lucca ) is an Italian singer ( tenor ).

Career

Matteo Bocelli is the youngest son of Andrea Bocelli and his first wife. He studied at the Conservatory in Lucca and appeared as a singer for the first time in public at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico at the age of 18 . To mark the 30th anniversary of the David Foster Foundation , he performed with stars such as Steven Tyler and Robin Thicke at the Miracle Concert in Vancouver in 2017 . In 2018, he appeared alongside Jennifer Lopez as a model in a Guess advertising campaign .

Andrea Bocelli's number one album from 2018 included the duet Fall on Me with Matteo, also in the Spanish version Ven a mi . The song was released as a single and father and son appeared together several times, for example at Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel , at Dancing with the Stars , in the Late Show with Stephen Colbert , at the Sanremo Festival 2019 and at Andrea Bocelli's concerts. The song was also used in the soundtrack to the film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms . It reached number 16 in the Canadian singles charts .

Bocelli has the same manager as his father and signed a recording deal with Capitol Records ( Universal ) in 2019 .
