Matthew Wachter
Matthew Walter Wachter (born January 5, 1976 in Pottsville (Pennsylvania) ) is an American bassist .
Wachter grew up in New Jersey and Boston . He has a classical music education and plays the piano, guitar and drums in addition to the bass. Until March 2, 2007 he played in the band Thirty Seconds to Mars , since the beginning of 2007 in the band Angels & Airwaves founded by Tom DeLonge . Wachter left Angels & Airwaves at his own request in the summer of 2014 to spend more time with his family. A re-entry was not ruled out.
