Shannon Leto
Shannon Leto (born March 9, 1970 in Bossier City , Louisiana ) is an American photographer and drummer in the group Thirty Seconds to Mars , he also has occasional guest appearances as an actor.
Life
Shannon Leto started playing the drums at the age of eight and taught himself to do so. Over the years he has been a member of various bands and has played pretty much everything from heavy metal to jazz . In 1998 he founded the band Thirty Seconds to Mars with his brother Jared Leto , he plays drums and percussion in the band . Leto names such greats as John Bonham , Stewart Copeland , Keith Moon , Nick Mason and Lars Ulrich as some of his favorite drummers and important influences on his style .
Bob Ezrin , producer of the (self-titled) debut album 30 Seconds to Mars called Leto "one of the most resourceful drummers" he has ever worked with. “He's not content with just adding a beat, his drums are an integral part of the album's orchestration. He's also a great live drummer, one that is fun to watch, with a mesmerizing presence and energy. ”He also plays guitar and piano and is interested in abstract art.
Leto also works as a photographer and publishes in magazines - he takes care of all photography for the band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
On June 16, 2014, he was arrested in Hollywood, California for "driving under the influence". He remained in custody pending $ 5,000 bail and an older ticket for driving without a valid license. Due to a travel ban, he missed several concerts on the ongoing European tour. Nothing is known about the sentence imposed.
In 2015 he founded the Blackfuel Trading Company . She sells coffee, accessories and merchandising online and in the shop.
