Matzelsdorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Burgschleinitz-Kühnring in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 33 building areas with 16,413 m² and 27 gardens on 26,406 m² in the cadastral community of Matzelsdorf , in 1989/1990 there were 38 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 54 and in 2009/2010 there were 53 buildings on 128 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 248 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 4 hectares were forest-managed forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 249 hectares and 4 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 246 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 4 hectares. The average soil climate number of Matzelsdorf is 46.4 (as of 2010).
