Mauro Dufner (born February 14, 1995 in Thurgau ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been under contract with SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in the National League since 2019 .

Career

Dufner went through the junior division of the PIKES EHC Oberthurgau before he switched to the elite juniors of SC Bern . There he made his debut in the top division of Switzerland in the 2013/14 season and celebrated his first major title in 2015 by winning the Swiss Cup . For the 2015/16 season, he switched to cantonal rivals EHC Biel .

At the beginning of December 2018, EHC Biel and Genève-Servette HC agreed on an exchange deal: Dufner moved to Geneva, but Will Petschenig came to Biel.

Dufner has been playing for SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers since the 2019/2020 season .

International

On an international level, Dufner played at the U18 Junior World Championship in 2013 . In addition, he belonged to all age groups between the U16 and U20.
