After the Rapperswilers left, Schlagenhauf signed a contract with HC Lugano until 2018. After only four missions he left the club again.
Schlagenhauf has been under contract again with his youth club, EHC Kloten , since the 2016/17 season . In 2017 he won his first professional title with the Swiss Cup .
