Maximilian Ahlschwede (born February 10, 1990 in Bad Oldesloe ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Ahlschwede began his career at NTSV Strand 08 and then moved to VfB Lübeck . In 2006 he moved to VfL Wolfsburg . In the 2007/08 season , Ahlschwede and Wolfsburg were German A-Juniors runner-up . In the final, Wolfsburg lost 2-0 to SC Freiburg . Ahlschwede came on in the 84th minute.
In 2009 Maximilian Ahlschwede moved up to the second men's team in Wolfsburg. He completed 49 regional league games and scored one goal. In the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons , Ahlschwede and his team were each runner-up in the Regionalliga Nord .
In the summer of 2011 Maximilian Ahlschwede and his teammate Fabian Klos moved to third division Arminia Bielefeld . He made his debut in the 3rd division on the first day of the match against VfB Stuttgart II . After Ahlschwede was only used three times, he switched to league rivals Kickers Offenbach in January 2012 . Here he played the first three games after the winter break for 90 minutes. Then he broke his metatarsus and had to take a break until the end of the season. In the following season 2012/13 Ahlschwede completed 34 of the 38 third division games and was in the starting line-up 29 times. He reached eighth place in the table with Offenbach.
For the 2013/14 season , Ahlschwede moved to league competitor SV Wehen Wiesbaden and received a two-year contract here. In his first season he ran 24 times for Wiesbaden and at the end of the season he finished fourth with the team. In the first half of the next 2014/15 season , he only made two appearances.
In the winter break of the 2014/15 season , Ahlschwede moved to league rivals Hansa Rostock on January 10, 2015 . For his new club, he played his first full-distance league game on January 31, 2015, against his now former employer SV Wehen Wiesbaden. Ahlschwede scored his first goal for Hansa Rostock on November 21, 2015 in the 5th minute of the game against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . The right-back, who had developed into a service provider, extended his contract with Hansa in May 2016. In 2017 he did not renew his contract in Rostock. To date, he has played 90 competitive games on board the Kogge and scored three goals for Hansa.
Ahlschwede moved in 2017 within the league to the second division relegated Würzburger Kickers and signed a two-year contract with the "Rothosen". He also quickly became a regular in Würzburg. In the DFB-Pokal 2017/18 he was eliminated with the Kickers in the first main round against Bundesliga club Werder Bremen (0: 3), but with Würzburg he reached fifth place in the table of 20 eligible teams at the end of the season. During the season he was used 32 times and was able to prove his skills and qualities. Due to health conditions, Ahlschwede only played three games in the first half of the 2018/19 season and left the club during the winter break. He returned to FC Hansa Rostock.
Back in the Hanseatic city, Maximilian Ahlschwede signed a working paper valid until 2020 plus the option to extend it for another year. At Rostock, Ahlschwede made 17 appearances in the second half of the 2018/19 season and ended the season in 6th place. He also won the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Cup and scored in the final against Torgelower FC Greif to make it 4-0 for Hansa. In the 2019/20 season he played 32 of 38 possible third division games (four goals) and placed sixth again with the Ostseestädtern. In the first main round of the DFB Cup , he played against the second division club VfB Stuttgart and was just eliminated with (0 : 1) off. He also received three appearances in the national cup of the current season. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany , this competition was suspended and no longer played to the end as originally scheduled. In May 2020, the service provider Ahlschwede agreed with the club's managers on an early contract extension until June 30, 2021. However, one month later, before the start of training for the new season, he surprisingly terminated his contract and ended his career as a professional athlete. The reason he gave was that he wanted to join his parents' company. For Hansa, Ahlschwede played a total of 145 competitive games (nine goals) during his engagements between 2015 to 2017 and 2019 to 2020 , including 132 (seven goals) in the 3rd soccer league, three in the DFB Cup and 10 competitive games (two goals) in the National cup.
Between November 23, 2011 and July 4, 2020, the defensive player Maximilian Ahlschwede made 233 third division games in which he scored seven goals.
Ahlschwede joined the upper division TuS Dassendorf in August 2020 .
