Megan Wright

Megan Wright ( Megan Elizabeth Wright, née Metcalfe; born January 27, 1982 in Edmonton ) is a Canadian long-distance runner .

At the World Cross Country Championships she finished 55th on the short distance in Saint-Galmier in 2005 and 50th in Fukuoka in 2006. At the World Athletics Cup in Athens in 2006 she was ninth over 3000 m .

In 2007 she won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro over 5000 m . In 2008 she was at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Valencia twelfth over 3000 m and ran at the Olympic Games in Beijing over 5000 m in 15th place.

In 2010 she was eighth over 5000 m at the Athletics Continental Cup in Split and at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi .
