Mile 4 ( English Mile 4 ) is the northernmost and smallest suburb of Swakopmund in Namibia .

The district borders the Atlantic Ocean in the west and extends to the planned new development areas as an extension of Vogelstrand in the south. The largest, northern part of Mile 4 is a privately operated campsite . Otherwise there are a few permanently inhabited detached houses in mile 4, but mainly holiday homes and apartments. The largest building is the Sea Side Hotel & Spa , located directly on the beach .
