Melanie Jaeger

Melanie Jaeger (born June 16, 1981 in Gran Canaria ) is a German pop singer .

Life

Jaeger was born on the island of Gran Canaria and grew up in a musical family. Melanie Jaeger was interested in music even in her childhood. She then worked as the front woman for a cover band for ten years . In 2010 she started her solo career. After a short time she turned to Latin Pop and Schlager . Melanie Jaeger then released a few singles . It has been marketed by S&W Music Group since 2010.

Her debut single Starke Liebe was released in December 2010. Her first music video "LUNA" was released in June 2011, followed by the single of the same name in July. In 2011 their single "LUNA" was placed in the Austrian airplay charts for several weeks. The following year, the music video “Baila, Baila” was presented in May, followed by the single of the same name in June. In June 2012 her debut album “There is nothing that holds me” was released, followed a few months later in October by the single “Schattenmeer”. Their singles "Baila, Baila" and "Schattenmeer" made it into the top ten of the Austrian airplay charts. In December 2012, her single Schattenmeer reached number 12 in the Austrian airplay charts. The song "Baila, Baila" is included in the 2012 sampler "Bierkönig Pistenhits" from the ZYX Music label .

Jaeger was seen on the television stations Gute Laune TV and Goldstar TV, among others. At the television station Deutsches Musik Fernsehen she was in the shows Wenn die Musi geht , Andy´s Musikparadies and STARTREFF on the go . Other TV appearances were in Musikkarussell and Deutsche Schlagerparade .

Jaeger could be heard on the radio on ORF , on hr4 , SR 3 Saarlandwelle , SWR4 , Bayern 1 , Bayern plus , MDR 1 Radio Sachsen , Radio Paloma and Radio VHR .

Jaeger won the Schlagermove Song Contest in Dortmund in 2011 and took second place at the Artist Song Contest in Cologne. Jaeger performs regularly throughout Germany. Internationally, Jaeger was seen in Mallorca, Innsbruck and Seefeld in Austria. A performance at the 13th Folk Music Festival in Winterthur is planned for September 2013. “Mario & Christoph” (formerly “ Alpentrio Tirol ”), “ Sigrid & Marina ”, “Vincent & Fernando” and “ Udo Wenders ” also play there.
