When Cheryl Salisbury retired in late 2009, she became team captain for the Matildas in February 2010 . After finishing second with Australia in 2006 at the Asian Cup, it was enough to win the first title in 2010 . With this, Australia also qualified for the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany . She was part of the squad for the World Cup in Germany. It was used in the first group game against Brazil , but was not taken into account in the second game. In the decisive third game against Norway she was back in goal and reached the quarter-finals with her team with a 2-1 win against Sweden . She was not nominated for the 2014 Asian women's football championship , in which Australia was unable to defend the title. On May 12, 2015, she was nominated for the 2015 Australian World Cup squad . With a height of only 1.68 m, she is the smallest of the three goalkeepers in the squad.
