In 2012, Hrovat won the giant slalom at the Trofeo Topolino . In December 2014, at the age of 15, she started taking part in FIS races . A month later, she achieved two top 10 placements at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2015 in Liechtenstein . The first victory in an FIS race followed in November 2015, a month later she took part in a European Cup race for the first time and immediately finished in the points. Hrovat made her debut in the World Cup on December 28, 2015 at the giant slalom in Lienz , where she finished 35th. At the second Youth Olympic Winter Games , which took place in Lillehammer in February 2016 , she won the bronze medal in slalom. The following month, she won the gold medal in the team competition at the 2016 Junior World Championships in Sochi .
On December 17, 2016, Hrovat stood on the podium for the first time in a European Cup race. Twelve days later she was able to win World Cup points for the first time when she finished 28th in the giant slalom in Semmering . At the World Cup giant slalom in Kronplatz on January 24, 2017, she surprised with 15th place. This was followed by two more European Cup podiums and winning the silver medal in combination at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Åre . Hrovat won a European Cup race for the first time on December 4, 2017, the Hafjell giant slalom ; ten days later there was another victory in Andalo in the same discipline. On January 27, 2018, she made it onto the podium in a World Cup race for the first time by finishing third in the giant slalom in Lenzerheide . A few days later she won the gold medal in slalom and the silver medal in combination at the 2018 Junior World Championships in Davos .
