The Gmina wiejska Międzyrzec Podlaski is a rural municipality in the powiat Biała Podlaska of the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland , the seat of the municipality is the town of Międzyrzec Podlaski , which, however, does not belong to the Gmina. The Gmina has an area of 261.6 km² and 10,527 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).
geography
The rural municipality borders the Podlaskie Voivodeship in the north and includes Międzyrzec Podlaski in the east, north and west. 26% of the municipal area is forested, 66% is used for agriculture.
Administrative history
From 1975 to 1998 Gmina belonged to the Biała Podlaska Voivodeship .
