Michael Bügen

Michael Bücke (born March 5, 1966 in Berlin ) is a German politician and was State Secretary in the Berlin Senate Department for Health and Social Affairs. He was district chairman of the CDU Berlin- Neukölln and has been working for the AfD since 2016 . Since October 2017 he has been working as the AfD parliamentary group manager in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

Life and work

Bügen studied business administration and graduated with a degree in business administration . He is married and has two children. Since his student days he has been a member of the Berlin fraternity Gothia and its affiliated student association Iuvenis Gothia.

In 1982 Bügen joined the CDU. From 2001 he was a member of the district executive committee and since 2009 chairman of the CDU Neukölln .

From 2001 he was a district councilor in Berlin-Neukölln. From 2001 to 2004 he was responsible for social affairs and basic social security, then until 2006 for social affairs and citizen services. From 2006 to 2011 he headed the Department for Social Affairs, Housing and the Environment and from 2009 was also Deputy District Mayor as Stefanie Vogelsang's successor .

On December 6, 2011, Bobe was appointed State Secretary in the Senate Department for Health and Social Affairs , led by Mario Czaja . There he was responsible for social affairs until June 30, 2013.

In November 2012 Büges membership in the Berlin fraternity Gothia was discussed in the media. After Büges decided to remain a member of his fraternity, Senator Czaja initiated his dismissal. On May 14, 2013, the Berlin Senate approved the application for release on June 30, 2013. His successor as State Secretary was then Dirk Gerstle (CDU).

Since February 2014, Bobe has been the managing director of Bürgerhilfe Kultur des Helfens gGmbH in Berlin. According to information from the Berliner Morgenpost , Bugt had already left the CDU in October 2016.

Since December 2016, he has been working for the AfD as campaign coordinator for the 2017 federal election . At about the same time he had unsuccessfully applied for the position of alderman for the city of Zeitz ; but only 4 of 32 city council members voted for him.

Since October 2017 he has been working as AfD parliamentary group manager in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . He took over the role of Sebastian Munzenmaier .
