European Women's Cup (handball) 1960/61

The European Cup for Women in 1960/61 was the first edition of the competition. The winner was the Romanian representative HC Sțiința Bucharest . A planned qualifying round between Žalgiris Kaunas and Oslo HK was canceled because Oslo withdrew its entry. The field handball champion Danubia Vienna competed for Austria , as there was no indoor handball championship yet.
