Jürgen Michael Krone (born May 30, 1948 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

The son of the actor Otto Krone grew up with his three brothers Andreas, Thomas and Raimund , who is also an actor, in Berlin. From 1954 to 1964 he attended school there and graduated with a technical college entrance qualification. By 1967 he received training as a retail salesman, which he completed with a journeyman's certificate. However, he did not pursue this profession any further and followed the tradition of his parents and his brother and trained as an actor. His first engagements were in Detmold until 1971 and in the Reutlingen Theater until 1973 , where he also worked as a director and member of the management team.

From 1973 he worked as an actor and director in Tübingen for ten years before moving to the ensemble of the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen in 1983, also for another ten years . After the reform of the festival in the early 1990s, Krone moved to various stages as a freelance actor, including in Münster , Dortmund , Wittenberg and also took on roles in film and television.

From 1999 to 2004 he was an actor and manager of the Roma theater “ Pralipe ”. He has given performances in Mostar , Budweis , Ljubljana , Helsinki , Newcastle, Seville , Vienna and Berlin , among others . Since 2005 he has played theater in Munich.

He has a son with his first wife. His three daughters are from their second marriage. Krone lives in Peiting with his wife Martina . In the Herzogsägmühle he runs a theater on a voluntary basis.
