Michael Müller (publisher, 1958)
Michael Müller (born March 29, 1958 in Aachen ; † February 6, 2014 there ) was a German author and publisher .
Life
Michael Müller studied history , Romance languages and public law at the Universities of Cologne , Bonn and Montpellier . In 1987 he founded the journalism and reporting agency (journalism and PR agency) in Aachen . In 1991 his involvement as a publisher began with the establishment of MM Verlag . The publisher's focus was on Catholic theology , church and social politics . According to the Aachener Zeitung, his first book Pleading for the Church: Judgments about Prejudice gained nationwide attention and became a bestseller .
Michael Müller became known with his magazine KOMMA - The Magazine for Freedom & Christian Culture , of which he had been editor-in-chief since 2000. The core topics in the more than one hundred issues were values and attitudes, religious and social phenomena such as “ Islamization ” and social controversies, e.g. B. Marriage and homosexuality.
His social commitment was shown, among other things, in the establishment of the local help association , which offered non-bureaucratic help to those in need in Aachen.
In 2010, he was able to attract numerous well-known authors for his publication Die Leise Diktatur - Das Schwinden der Freiheit : Hartmut Bachmann , Wladimir Bukowski , Stefan Herre , Karin Jäckel , Martin Kastler , André F. Lichtschlag , Jürgen Liminski , Chaim Noll , Andreas Püttmann , Joseph Ratzinger , Hans Thomas and Udo Ulfkotte .
Müller was married and the father of four children. He died of a heart attack .
